What happened

CarbonFarm, a French digital monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) provider for rice decarbonisation, raised EUR 7 million in an oversubscribed Series A round led by Colam Impact, with Proparco, Suma Capital, elea and Bpifrance joining and existing backers Racine² (the joint Serena and makesense fund) and Techmind taking part. Closing wording: "has raised €7 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round". The proceeds are to expand the technology and support rice decarbonisation projects worldwide. Per-investor amounts are not disclosed. Converted at 1.1181 USD/EUR (ECB reference rate of 12 October 2026 via Frankfurter), a day rate used for this deal only.
