Project type as recorded
Modular biomass pyrolysis producing biocarbon, bio-oil and baseload power

What happened

First external funding round, equity, from Lotus One Investment, Counteract and unnamed private investors. Modular Gravity Series pyrolysis plants with the Sarva plant operating system and digital MRV, focused exclusively on the Global South, with the PyroNam facility in Namibia and activity in Germany and India. Credits certified through Isometric, Puro.earth and Carbon Standards International.

Kumo note

A first institutional round for a pyrolysis developer built around the Global South, selling biocarbon, bio-oil and baseload power alongside the removal credits rather than depending on the credit alone. Counteract, which backs it, is the fund whose carbon curves framework shapes how these projects are underwritten.
