What happened

A six-figure equity investment by The Green Waste Company, funding machinery and site preparation.

Kumo note

The feedstock partner taking equity in the plant it supplies, which is what makes the waste stream and the offtake one arrangement rather than two. Roughly a third of The Green Waste Company's intake is too woody or oversized to compost, and that is the plant's feedstock. Woodtek Engineering, the pyrolyser manufacturer, also holds equity, taken in exchange for a machinery discount rather than for cash, so it advances no capital and takes no provider row. The equity is disclosed only as six figures, so the deal is counted and carries no value.
