What happened

Minnkota Power Cooperative signed Reliant Carbon Capture & Storage as lead developer for Project Tundra at the Milton R. Young Station, Center, North Dakota. Reliant will develop, own and operate the capture facility and will explore CO2 offtake for Bakken enhanced oil recovery. Revives a project whose prior co-developers withdrew around 18 months ago and whose DOE funding was terminated around a year ago. A development-rights transfer rather than a conventional acquisition.
