- Kiwibank purchased biodiversity credits generated through Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari, a registered charity protecting 3,363 hectares of native forest behind a 47 kilometre predator proof fence in Waikato. The credits are issued under the BioCredita programme, designed and operated by environmental markets specialist Ekos, which sells them. Closing wording: "purchasing credits generated through Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari". Neither volume nor value is published.
