What happened
- Offtake agreement with Salesforce for future carbon removal credits, announced 21 September 2026 alongside the first close of The Amazon Reforestation Fund II. Volume, value, tenor and payment timing all undisclosed, so it does not rank. Salesforce has been a Symbiosis Coalition member since launch and Symbiosis already holds a 215,000 t Mombak award from 6 November 2025; the announcement describes this as a direct agreement, not a coalition award.
Kumo note
- Mombak issued its first reforestation credits in July 2026 and delivered them more than two years ahead of the deadlines in the underlying offtakes. Salesforce is contracting after first delivery rather than before it, which carries a different risk from the pre-delivery forward purchases that make up most of this market.
